Parineeti Chopra denies getting unfair advantage for being Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, “

NEW DELHI, April 26 (Online): The Great Indian Kapil Show: Aamir Khan makes a debut on Kapil Sharma’s show; the actor reveals his kids don’t listen to himThis discussion shows the ups and downs actors go through in their careers and the importance of family support.
Speaking to Raj Shamani on his podcast, Parineeti said, “If being related to Priyanka Chopra could’ve helped my career, then I wouldn’t have had any flops in my career.

I’ve seen such lows in the last 10 years. Every person who has had some association in the industry is actually under a lot of pressure. You might get your first chance, first audition, first meeting, but after that, you’re on your own and it’s more difficult to prove yourself. The comparisons will never end. So, what happens is, you can be a complete outsider, and it’s very difficult to survive. Or, you could be related to somebody and get that first meeting, but after that, your journey is your own.” The actress also added that ‘nepotism may or may not be real, but favouritism is real’.

In recent interviews, Parineeti also mentioned losing work opportunities because she wasn’t seen at industry events, giving the wrong impression to filmmakers. However, her recent role in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ showed her willingness to work and try different roles, improving her communication.
