ISLAMABAD, April 26 (ONLINE): PML-N leader Senator Irfan Siddiqui has dispelled the impression that unforeseen forces or Shehbaz Sharif blocked the way of Nawaz Sharif to premier ship saying Nawaz Sharif himself was not mentally prepared to become Prime Minister (PM) at all.
” An impression was given unforeseen forces or Shehbaz Sharif blocked the way of Nawaz Shareif. But this is baseless and wrong. Nawaz Sharif was not ready to become PM mentally, he said this while talking in a private TV program here Friday.
He went on to say the meetings with Nawaz Shari before election gave impression perhaps he is ready to become PM for the fourth time. Such impression was given that Nawaz Sharif was eager to become PM. Unforeseen forces or Shehbaz Sharif blocked his way.
I was present in the meeting wherein Nawaz Sharif announced he was giving premiership to Shehbaz Sharif. Had Nawaz Sharif been prepared one percent mentally to become PM then no power could stop him.
Rana Sana Ullah may have taken this impression that if there is two thirds majority then Nawaz Sharif will become PM. I am not negating this impression.
He went on to say no conspiracy was being hatched against Nawaz Sharif in the party. There could be conspiracy against Nawaz Sharif at that time if he would have been eager to become PM.
No change has come in his status and respect of Nawaz Sharif in the party.
