New York (PR) Farooq Siddiqui, President of the Kashmir Global Council, while celebrating the new year, emphasized that we should not forget the thousands of people who lost their lives during the Ukraine and Gaza wars. Thousands of Kashmiris have been imprisoned and killed by India. The past year was one of the worst in history, with millions of people displaced, children orphaned, and women widowed. Millions were left unemployed and homeless. We should hope that during the new year, there will be peace in the world, major global conflicts will be resolved, and steps will be taken to save humanity. On this occasion, we must also remember the thousands of Kashmiris who are still imprisoned in Indian jails, facing political charges and being detained for many years.
