ISLAMABAD: The first meeting of the Steering Committee was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal to review the committee’s mandate, ongoing initiatives and matters related to the health sector.
The meeting discussed progress in various areas, issues being faced in the implementation of ongoing initiatives and the proposed course of action to achieve the set targets.
The participants reviewed relevant matters in detail and exchanged views on improving coordination among concerned institutions to ensure effective implementation of the committee’s decisions.
Syed Mustafa Kamal directed all relevant institutions to strengthen coordination, ensure timely completion of ongoing measures and take effective steps for achieving the agreed targets.
The meeting also emphasized continued coordination among relevant stakeholders to ensure that planned health initiatives were implemented efficiently and within the stipulated timelines.
