Dr. Caroline, a beautiful physician with a packed schedule, usually arrived home long after her husband, Mike, had gone to bed.
One evening, he decided to wait up.
When she finally walked through the door at midnight, he was sitting on the couch in his best shirt, holding two glasses of wine.
“Caroline,” he said, “we need to discuss our love life.”
She put down her medical bag. “What seems to be the problem?”
“The problem? You come home late, eat something, and fall asleep. I’m beginning to feel like your roommate!”
Caroline sat beside him and took his hand.
“How long have you been experiencing these symptoms?”
“Six months!”
“And have you tried anything to improve the condition?”
“Flowers. Candles. Romantic music. Last Thursday, I even wore those silk underwear you bought me.”
“Any noticeable results?”
“Yes. You asked whether I’d developed a rash.”
Caroline laughed. “All right. Tomorrow evening, I’m coming home early. No phone, no paperwork—just you and me.”
Mike’s face lit up. “Really?”
“Really. Go upstairs and get some rest. You’ll need your energy.”
He hurried toward the bedroom, then paused.
“Wait. Should I take one of those little blue pills?”
Caroline raised an eyebrow.
“Let’s start with something stronger.”
“Stronger?”
“Do the dishes without being asked. That’s the most powerful stimulant a married woman knows!”😂🤣
