After thirty years of marriage, Linda decided their love life needed a little excitement.

She walked into the living room wearing the dress she’d worn on their first date.

“Well?” she asked, striking a pose. “Does this still do anything for you?”

Her husband, George, lowered his newspaper.

“Absolutely. It reminds me I used to have hair.”

“Try again.”

“You look gorgeous, darling.”

“Better.” She smiled. “Tonight, I want you to treat me like a woman you’ve just met.”

George immediately hid his wedding ring.

“Not THAT part!”

She handed him a list.

“Flowers. Dinner. Dancing. And a little adventure afterward.”

George studied it carefully.

“Is this a date or a military operation?”

“Surprise me,” she said. “Take me somewhere expensive!”

Twenty minutes later, they pulled into a petrol station.

Linda stared at him.

“George.”

“What? Look at those prices. And I’ve booked you the premium pump.”

“Take me somewhere that makes my heart race!”

He handed her his phone.

“What’s this?”

“My shopping history.”

After the argument, George finally took her to a lovely restaurant. Over candlelight, Linda softened.

“Tell me something naughty,” she whispered.

George leaned across the table.

“I washed your cashmere sweater on hot.”

Her mouth fell open.

“You WHAT?”

“And put it in the dryer.”

“Have you completely lost your mind?”

George sat back, pleased.

“Flowers, dinner, and now you’re breathless. Thirty years, darling—I still know which buttons to push.”😂🤣
