The Waitress Knew Exactly When to Bring the Bill!

Maggie was the most attentive waitress in a busy restaurant—especially when young adult couples came in on dates.

She could spot a first date before they even ordered: he’d pretend to understand the wine list, and she’d pretend she wasn’t checking the prices.

One Friday evening, a handsome young man arrived with his date and requested the most secluded booth.

“Of course,” Maggie said. “Somewhere romantic, or somewhere your credit card can cry in private?”

“Romantic,” he replied confidently.

Throughout dinner, Maggie kept their glasses full, dimmed the little table lamp, and somehow appeared every time they needed anything.

Finally, the young man leaned across the table and whispered to his date, “You know, I’m very generous, I have incredible stamina, and I always make sure a woman is completely satisfied.”

Maggie appeared beside him.

“Wonderful! Would you like to prove that tonight?”

His date blushed. He straightened his collar.

“What did you have in mind?”

“The bill, three flights of stairs to our rooftop terrace, and the dessert menu.”

The woman burst out laughing.

After dessert, the man discreetly asked Maggie, “How do you always know the exact moment to come over?”

“Twenty years of experience, sweetheart.”

“So you can tell when a couple has chemistry?”

“Oh, absolutely.”

“And when things are about to get serious?”

“Even easier.”

“How?”

Maggie glanced at his date, then handed him the bill.

“She’s stopped laughing at your jokes and started asking whether you own your house.”😂🤣
