ISLAMABAD 29 Dec (Online): Federal Police has seized stolen valuable vehicle during checking at berriers.
Case has been filed and investigation started in this case.
Yesterday (Thursday) during checking on barrier at the entrance road to Islamabad police has stopped vehicle with number plate of LOG-1369. On checking the record of vehicle on tablet, vehicle was found stolen in the case of civil line Rawalpindi police station in the FIR number 1349 on the date of 11 Jun 2022 under article-381-A.
Vehicle along with driver Akhtar Zaib shifted to secretariat police station and FIR (First information report) has been registered.
Checking has been made stricter on diplomatic enclave entry point and redzone barriers on the directions of IG Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, and through tablets persons and vehicle details are being entered online.
System is connected with the data of excise and taxation department Punjab.
