Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has officially issued a notification establishing the new Lasbela Division.
According to the notification, the newly created division comprises the districts of Lasbela, Hub, and Awaran, with its headquarters to be located in Uthal.
The notification also includes administrative changes to Saruna, a sub-tehsil of Khuzdar. Two of its Union Councils have been reassigned to different districts.
Under the new administrative arrangement, one Union Council has been merged into Lasbela District, while the second has been incorporated into Hub District.
