QUETTA, Dec 31 (APP):Respective areas of Balochistan including provincial capital Quetta, Kalat, Mastung, Dalbandin, Lasbela, and others received winter’s first rain and light snowfall at hilly areas of the province.
The scattered rain started in Quetta and other areas on Friday after which the weather turned pleasant and cold despite breaking a prolong pause of dry weather in Balochistan.
The Met Office has forecast cloudy weather in most parts of the province while rain may occur in Kalat Mastung, Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat, Killa Saifullah with a chance of light snowfall over the hills of Ziarat and other areas during the next 24 hours.
The minimum temperature in Quetta was recorded at -2.0 degrees centigrade and 2.0 degrees centigrade in Kalat.
