Niazi lauds Kashmiri expatriates role exposing Indian atrocities in IIOJK

MIRPUR (AJK): Dec 31 (APP):Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi Friday appreciated the vibrant role played by the overseas Kashmiris for exposing the Indian forces atrocities and projecting the Kashmir issue in its true perspective at international level.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation led by Tauseef Anwar, Mayor of London (Leuchem) at Jammu and Kashmir House in the federal capital, said a press release.

The prime minister said that Indian oppressions in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has crossed all the limits while the Indian Army was involved in genocide of innocent and unarmed Kashmiri people.

He said a memorandum will also be presented to the UN observers mission in Muzaffarabad on 5th of January to draw the attention of the international community to fulfill its obligations for resolving the long standing Kashmir issue for establishing durable and lasting peace in the region.

The prime minister expressed his serious concern over the killings of hundreds of Kashmiri through fake encounters and even their bodies were not being handed over to their families which is a serious violation of human rights while thousands of youths are still suffering in various torture cells of the Indian Army.

The prime minister urged the international community to fulfill the promises made to the Kashmiri people for granting their fundamental right to self determination.

The prime minister assured that the government will provide all possible assistance to the overseas Kashmiri for highlighting the plight of the Kashmiri people over the globe.
