The actor has been the focus of intense media attention in recent weeks following news of his relationship with Gauri Spratt and his third marriage.
Now, several videos and images circulating on social media appear to show Hindu extremist groups protesting against the actor over his marriage. The protesters reportedly burned an effigy of Aamir Khan and staged demonstrations.
According to reports, the protesters accused Aamir Khan of deliberately marrying Hindu women as part of a conspiracy, claiming that he was attempting to weaken the Hindu community.
