Maryland: Young American actress Kaylee Hottle has died following a tragic car accident in Maryland. She was 18.
According to international media reports, Hottle earned widespread acclaim for her performances in Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
Her father, Joshua Hottle, said he travelled to the US state of Maryland after learning about the accident and was required to identify his daughter’s body.
Media reports said the actress was transported from the crash site to a trauma centre, where she was later pronounced dead.
Kaylee Hottle, who was deaf, became widely known for portraying Jia, a character who communicated with Kong through sign language. Her death has been confirmed by her family and Maryland authorities.
