Amitabh Bachchan strikes Rs 10 Crore real estate deal in Alibaug

NEW DELHI, April 23 (Online): Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan makes significant property investments in Alibaug, Maharashtra and Ayodhya, joining a 20-acre project. Other celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Deepika Padukone also invest in properties in Alibaug.

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been shelling out the big bucks, investing in property.
According to the latest reports, the ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ star has now made a sizable purchase of land in Alibaug, Maharashtra. The actor has reportedly spent Rs 10 crore on a purchase of 10,000 sq ft of prime property. This is believed to be a part of a swanky 20-acre development project that was launched last April.
This big purchase comes shortly after Bachchan announced early this year that he was shelling out Rs 14.5 crore for a piece of land in Ayodhya.

As for Alibaug, the beach town has become the top spot for celebrity land investments. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan was in the news when she purchased a piece of farm-land worth Rs 9.5 crores in February 2024. SRK also owns a beach-front home there.
Other celebs who have shelled out big bucks on properties in Alibaug include Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli among others.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bachchan has been ruling the top trends on social media for his intriguing first look in the upcoming sci-fi epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The film that is yet to get an official release date, will see the megastar play the role of Ashwatthama, opposite Prahbhas and Deepika Padukone.
