Mrs. Wilson, a strict school teacher, came home one afternoon looking exhausted.
Her mother-in-law asked, “Rough day at school?”
Mrs. Wilson sighed. “You have no idea. One of my students is impossible. He talks nonstop, never listens, and argues with everything I say!”
Her mother-in-law smiled and said, “That sounds frustrating.”
The teacher nodded. “It is! Today I finally sent a note home to his parents.”
“Really?” asked her mother-in-law. “What did you write?”
Mrs. Wilson proudly replied, “I wrote: ‘Your son needs to learn when to stop talking and start listening.’”
The mother-in-law burst out laughing.
“Why are you laughing?” asked the teacher.
Her mother-in-law grinned and said:
“Because if that note works, make me a copy—I’ve been trying to teach my son the same thing for 40 years!” 🤣🤣🤣
