Shaniera Akram stresses importance of seatbelt to save lives

ISLAMABAD April 05 (Online): Shaniera Akram posted a screenshot on instagram featuring road accident, which depicted damaged caused by not wearing the seatbelt.

While writing with the feature post she question about the happening of incident.

“You think this can’t happen? Ask yourself who is responsible for your child’s life???! I counted 70 cars in defence this morning, 64 of them had children in the car without belts.

Cars that have seatbelts in them. Why would anyone ever be stupid enough to risk their child’s life when travelling in a car if they didn’t have to?” Akram posed a rhetorical question to highlight how much of a difference a simple seatbelt can make”, She wrote.

Further she stressed “Let’s make this a happy Ramazan and make sure your kids are safe. Prevention is always better than ‘I should have but didn’t’! Be smart, save lives. Put your kids in the back with a seatbelt on PLEASE,”

This is not first time she pointed out ignorance about the road safety.
Last year July, she called the irresponsible behavior on the video posted in which couple Minal Khan and Ahsen Mohsin Ikram enjoying drive in Moonsoon season without seatbelts.

She also criticized the video of newlywed, this year January in which Ikram drove while having niece in his lap to ignore the road safety protocols.

Many people take her reminder lightly but she does not reminding people about the road safety to prevent any kind of damage themselves and their loved ones.
