ATTOCK, Oct 24 (Online): A special court for the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) in Pindigheb town of Attock on Tuesday sentenced a drug peddler who was arrested by Police station under section 9-C CNSA, 1997 to nine years of rigorous imprisonment besides imposing fine over them.
Additional session Judge Qamar Uz Zaman Bhatti, the judge of the special CNS court pronounced the judgment after recording statements of witnesses and final arguments from both sides.
The convict Muhammad Sarfraz was booked by Pindigheb police station this year under section 9-C of PPC. And in the light of the statements of the witnesses, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment besides imposing a fine Rs 80 thousand over him.
