ISLAMABAD Dec 17 (Online): Head Constable of Islamabad Police Muhammad Ashraf along with his son have been martyred by bandits in the federal capital.
According to the details, according to the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police, Shaheed Head Constable Muhammad Ashraf was going along with his son when he saw the robbers committing the crime. When the martyred head constable tried to arrest the robbers, the accused opened fire.
Spokesman Islamabad police said senior police officers are present at the spot along with a heavy contingent while search operation is going on in the area to arrest the accused.
ICCPO Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan has taken notice of the incident and has issued orders to arrest the accused as soon as possible, spokesperson said.
