Court dismisses bail plea of accused involved in forging contacts with RAW

RAWALPINDI, January 03 (Online): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has dismissed the bail pleas of the accused involved in forging contacts with Indian secret agency RAW.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain heard the bail pleas of the accused including Arsalan Wajid and Muhammad Din Wednesday.

Prosecutor Rana Navid said in the court the accused persons received money from RAW agents for committing the acts of sabotage in Pakistan. Police have recovered the money from the accused which was given by RAW agents to them.

He said arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the accused. The evidence against the two accused reflect their intent to commit acts of sabotage in Pakistan.

The defense counsels said in the court the case against both the accused is false and it has been framed without any reason.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain of ATC dismissed the bail pleas of both the accused.
