LAHORE, Sep 23 (Online): The Model court for sexual violence has awarded capital punishment to father for raping his daughter.
Mian Shahid Javed judge of Model court for sexual violence awarded death sentence to Rafiq for raping his daughter.
The court also ordered the accused to pay compensation of Rs 10 lakh to his daughter.
The court maintained if the accused fails to pay the compensation he will have to undergo sentence of further 6 months.
The criminal was shifted to jail on announcement of court’s decision.
The court directed deputy superintendent not to implement death sentence until confirmation from high court.
