ATTOCK – August 11 (ONLINE) Three persons including two young friends drown in two different incidents in various parts of the district Attock on Thursday.
In the first incident, 10 years old Abdul Ghani along with his 9 years old friend Fahad went to a pond in village Ahmedal in limits of Pindigheb Police station where they went in to the deep waters and drowned.
Later, their bodies were retrieved by local volunteers and shifted to THQ Pindigheb where they pronounced dead.
Separately a 55 years old man drowned in Ghazi Bortha water channel near Hattain in limits of Hazro Police station. Rescue 1122 sources while quoting eye witnesses has said that the man went to bath in the channel where he loses control and drowned. His body was retrieved and shifted to THQ hospital. Respective Police registered two separate cases and started further investigation.
