6 FIRs, 38 notices served over dengue violations

MULTAN, Mar 24 (APP):The divisional administration has initiated the measures on war-footing against dengue and got registered 6 FIRs and 38 notices to violators during current week across the division.

A review meeting on anti-dengue, corona vaccination was held here on Thursday under the chairmanship of Commissioner Multan division Dr Irshad Ahmad.

He ordered to get lodge FIR in case of recovery of larvae from any commercial building.

Health department teams were asked to conduct surveillance of each knock and corner of houses, Tyre shops and graveyards.

He ordered to seal all places including service stations becoming cause of spreading dengue larvae and to launch special cleanliness drive at all public places including parks and ponds.

He urged the citizens to keep your environment dry and clean to eradicate dengue.

He further ordered to upload data on Portal related to dengue activities under latest Android system.

CEO Health Dr Shoaib Gormani while giving briefing said that cases had been got registered against United Mall Gulgasht in Multan, Multan Sarai House Lari Ada, United Bakery and Bank Al-Falah Shujaabad.

Larvae has been recovered from four places in Musa Pak Town, 4 places in Sher Shah Town, 19 places in Shah Rakn-e- Alam Town and 10 places in Bosan Town.

He appealed to the citizens to keep their houses and area clean and dry and protect their loves one from dengue fever.

It is possible to eradicate dengue with precautionary measures. Director Health Services Dr Waseem Ramzi said that Vehari district was ranked on 7th in Punjab, Lodhran 12, Khanewal 13 and Multan stood on 17th in complete Corona vaccination. Multan division is the only division in Punjab which all districts have achieved more than 80 percent vaccination targets, he added.
