ISLAMABAD, FEB 24 (ONLINE): Islamabad (IBD) Police have filed 16-point SOPs pertaining to arrest of the accused from court’s premises in Islamabad High Court (IHC).
DSP legal team filed SOPs.
The court directed to implement all the SOPs.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir while accepting protective bail of the accused Shehbana Kanwal wrapped up the petition.
According to the report filed in the court in what conditions the arrest can be made from the premises of the court. The arrest will be made from precinct of court in the event of orders by the judge.
In contempt of court case, arrest will be made from premises of the court under the order of the court.
As per SOPs, arrest can be made from premises of court to stop terrorism or exhibition of arms and cognizable offence. The person who makes suicide bid will be arrested. Islamabad police appointed SP Security as focal person who will inform the courts and the officers regarding security of courts and other matters.
