ISLAMABAD, Jan 27 (Online): Legal expert Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said he is opposed to life time disqualification.
“ it has been my stance from the very beginning there should be no life time disqualification. However neither any person specific petition should be filed nor Supreme Court Bar should indulge in this issue”, he said this while reacting to the petition filed in Supreme Court (SC) against lifetime disqualification of Jahangir Tareen and Nawaz Sharif during his talks with a private TV channel here Thursday.
If petition is in public interest it should be filed by Supreme Court Bar. The affected parties should file the petitions against life time disqualification on their own. Supreme Court bar should stay away from this matter.
