ISLAMABAD, May 27TH (Online): Drama serial Tere Bin is the most watched and talked about Pakistani drama, currently. The drama has been garnering huge praise and public and critical acclaim despite many loopholes and flaws in the storyline. The recent turn of events started up aggressive debates on social media and media. Well, the drama, unfortunately, highlighted the forceful consummation of marriage which was hated by the Tere Bin viewers.
Tere Bin makers had to edit the episode 47 as per the wishes of their viewers after severe backlash. In many comments, the public referred to Pemra to take notice of such dramas. Yesterday, Pemra issued the warning notice in this regard. Pemra’s notice says, “Pemra’s notice on airing inappropriate content. Geo Television’s drama Tere Bin’s episode 47 had the inappropriate content which deviated from various clauses of 2015 law. Pemra is warning the channel to be careful in this regard”.
Well, a certain number of people were already angry at the drama and its plot now that are happy that at least Pemra has given a warning to the makers. Many think that it should have not been aired. Many fans are trying to defend the episode by saying that the episode has nothing inappropriate as Pemra is mentioning. Many social media users said that the drama has done the damage to our religious and cultural values.
