LAHORE, OCT 09 (ONLINE): Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to IG Punjab and other respondents on Khadija Shah Petition seeking details of cases against her.
Petition filed by Khadija Shah came up for hearing before single bench of LHC led by Justice Baqir Najfi Monday.
IG Punjab, CCPO Lahore and others have been made respondents.
Khadija Shah filed the petition through her counsel Samir advocate taking the plea details of all the cases be provided to her. Knowing number of cases and ascertaining their details is basic right.
The court directed the lawyers of Punjab government to obtain directives and appear before it.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till one week.
