Riz Ahmed, the well-known British-Pakistani actor is enjoying the limelight on the latest release of his film, Sound of Metal.
The reluctant fundamentalist actor has been enlisted by the National Board of Review (NBR) as the best actor of 2021, making prospects of his Oscar. Ahmed accoladed the best actor spot for his stellar portrayal in Sound of Metal.
Moreover, the NBR follows the tradition of announcing the names before nominating individuals in the category of Oscar.
This year 5 Bloods received best movie award, and the best director prize was bagged by the film’s director.
The Oscar Award of the upcoming year is still awaited with bated breath.
