Mumbai-February 08 (Online): Bollywood playback singer KS Chithra has made a musical tribute to Lata Mangeshkar.
KS Chithra, who has always been an ardent admirer of the iconic singer, has crooned the song ‘Teri Aankhon Ke Sivaa’ as a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar.
The original song was sung by Lata Mangeshkar herself. ‘Teri Aankhon Ke Sivaa’ is a popular song from the 1969 Bollywood movie ‘Chirag’.
The film featured Sunil Dutt and Asha Parekh in lead roles. And the song ‘Teri Aankhon Ke Sivaa’ was composed by Madan Mohan and the lyrics were penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri.
Lata Mangeshkar crooned the female version of ‘Teri Aankhon Ke Sivaa’, while the male version was recorded by Mohammed Rafi.
