MUMBAI, FEB 08 (Online): Ashvini Yardi was one of the few people from Bollywood who attended Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s royal wedding in Jaisalmer. After attending the dreamy nuptials, Ashvini penned a heartfelt note blessing the couple.
Kiara marked her Bollywood debut with ‘Fugly’, which was produced by Ashvini. Sharing a picture from the day when Kiara signed on the dotted line for ‘Fugly’, Ashvini wrote, “I met Alia Advani 10 years ago at my Juhu office , where she had come to sign the agreement of our film Fugly.
She has come a long way since then and I couldn’t be more proud. Yesterday she married the man of her dreams , the wonderful and kind Sidharth Malhotra in a fairy tale wedding in Jaisalmer. Everything has changed and yet nothing has changed. She is still my l’il Alia who I met 10 years ago. All my love and blessings to Mrs & Mr Malhotra.”
Karan Johar, who launched Sidharth in Bollywood, was also a part of the wedding festivity. He too penned loving note for the newlyweds, which read, “Verified I met him a decade and a half ago…. Silent, strong and still so sensitive…. I met her many years after… silent ,strong and so sensitive in equal measure…Then they met each other and i realised in that moment that the these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together….
Watching them is a fairy tale that is rooted in tradition and family… As they exchanged vows on a mandap of mohabbat everyone around them felt the pulse…felt the energy… I sat proud, elated and bursting with only love for the two of them! I love you Sid…. I love you Ki…. May today be your forever….
