MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has reportedly tied the knot for the third time, marrying his longtime partner, Gauri Spratt, in a private ceremony attended by close family members.
According to Indian media reports, the wedding took place on July 5 at Aamir Khan’s residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The intimate celebration was attended only by the couple’s close relatives and loved ones.
Reports suggest that Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt successfully kept their relationship away from the public eye for a long time. The actor has maintained a relatively low profile in recent months, while Gauri, despite being a successful entrepreneur, has consistently kept her personal life out of the media spotlight.
Gauri Spratt comes from a multicultural family background. Her mother, Rita, belongs to a Punjabi family with Irish roots, while her father, Robert Spratt, is from a Tamil family based in the United Kingdom. Reports also claim that her grandfather was a British-born columnist and author who arrived in India during the 1920s and participated in the country’s independence movement.
Raised in India, Gauri completed her higher education in London. She also has a son from her previous marriage, who was reportedly present at the wedding ceremony.
Following in her mother’s footsteps, Gauri currently operates a beauty center in Bengaluru. Before launching her beauty business, she worked as a garment designer in the city. Since 2007, she has served as a partner and director of a well-known Indian brand. She also owns a beauty salon in Mumbai and is associated with Aamir Khan’s production house.
Indian media reports estimate Gauri Spratt’s net worth to be between ₹240 million and ₹400 million (approximately ₹24 crore to ₹40 crore). Her assets reportedly include a house in Bengaluru’s Whitefield area, which is also registered as the headquarters of one of her business ventures. She previously owned a hair studio on Magrath Road in Bengaluru, which she sold about a decade ago, further contributing to her wealth.
