KARACHI, Nov 5 (Online ): Kashmiri Hurriyat leader in collaboration with Palestine Foundation conducted a condolence reference of “Maulana Abbas Ansari” at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi on Thursday.
Addressing the condolence reference of “Maulana Abbas Ansari”, leaders of various political and religious parties and civil society members said that the eternal sacrifices of Hurriyat leaders cannot be forgotten.
Hurriyat Conference’s former chairman Maulana Abbas Ansari along with the leaders of Hurriyat Conference in front of Sheikh Abdullah’s secularism.
He guided the youth of Jammu and Kashmir in a timely manner and inculcated the Islamic society and freedom movement from Kashmir to the youth.
Former members of Sindh Assembly Mahfooz Yar Khan, Major (retd) Qamar Abbas, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen, PTI leader Asrar Abbasi, columnist and analyst Bashir Sadouzai, Hafiz Amjad, Haider Imam, Syed from the meeting. Shahid Hussain, Allama Waheed Younis, Allama Qari Idris, Manoj Chauhan, Owais Rabbani, Nazia Ali, Jamshed Hussain, Rehana Aziz, Nasreen Memon, Dua Zabeer, Abbas Kashmiri, Farhan Ali Advocate, Zahid Hussain Advocate, Shahida Ali, Nabil Hussain and other members of the society spoke.
While Sajjad Ansari, the son of the late Maulana Abbas Ansari, also addressed on the telephone from Srinagar.
Addressing the participants of the conference, speakers said that the issue of Kashmir has entered a new historical turning point where the Kashmiri people facing Indian Aggression and brutality, along with new conspiracies from the global imperialist forces.
Speakers said that talks of mediation on Kashmir by powerful countries indicate that the aim is to divide Kashmir and sabotage the Kashmir issue.
The speakers said that any heinous conspiracy to annex India against the aspirations of the Kashmiri people cannot be accepted under the pretext of mediation on the Kashmir issue.
The speakers said that the people of Pakistan, political leadership, and civil society will not allow the black plans made on the Kashmir issue to succeed.
The speakers said that the fate of Kashmir has to be decided by the Kashmiri people, whether they join Pakistan or become independent, no power in the world has any right to decide the fate of Kashmir.
The speakers further said that the issue of Palestine is also in the hands of the Palestinian people, but no state in the world has the right to take any decision related to Palestine that does not reflect the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
Participants paid tribute to the sacrifices and struggle of Maulana Abbas Ansari, Syed Ali Geelani, Ashraf Sehrai, and other Hurriyat leaders and said that the people of Pakistan will always remember the Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and will introduce the future generations to the history-making Hurriyat leaders.
