An LA family gathered around the kitchen table to discuss making extra money.
“We need ideas,” Dad announced. “Something people will actually pay for.”
“I could sell my homemade cakes,” Mom suggested.
“I could teach fitness classes,” said their adult daughter.
Grandma smiled. “I could offer dating advice. Four husbands—that’s experience.”
Dad puffed out his chest. “What about me modeling? Women still turn their heads when I walk past.”
“That’s because you leave the restaurant with their chair caught in your belt,” Mom said.
“Be serious! I could charge fifty dollars an hour as a handsome companion. Dinner, dancing, a little flirting…”
Mom studied him thoughtfully.
“Actually, I could get two hundred an hour.”
Dad’s jaw dropped. “For YOUR company?”
“No, honey. From the wives who want me to take you with me.”
Grandma raised her hand.
