At a backyard barbecue in Ohio, Linda told her friends, “After thirty years of marriage, I finally got Bob to look at me the way he looks at our young neighbor.”
“How?” whispered Carol.
“I sent myself flowers with a card saying, ‘Still thinking about last night.’”
“Did he get jealous?”
“Jealous? He shaved, put on cologne, and booked us a weekend away!”
Across the yard, Bob was telling the husbands his side.
“I knew those flowers were from her. She used our joint credit card.”
“Then why the romantic weekend?”
Bob grinned. “She spent eighty bucks advertising an opening. I figured I’d better renew my contract.”
