Attock 30 Oct (ONLINE): A local court in Attock on Monday sentenced a convict to death for murdering a man over some old feud in the limits of Hassanabdal Police station on January 14 this year.
The session judge also imposed a fine of Rs 0.5 million on the accused identified as Syed Sardar Hussain Shah, a native of Bhoigar village.
According to the FIR registered under section 302 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), the accused shot a man in some old feud in the limits of Hassanabdal Police station during this year. The prosecution produced substantial evidence against the accused which established involvement of Mr Sardar in the cold blood murder of the man and subsequently sent the convict to gallows. The convict was also ordered to pay Rs 0.5 million as fine.
