ISLAMABAD, JAN 06 (ONLINE): PTI has issued show cause notice to its senator Gurdeep Singh on the matter of not pointing the of lack of quorum in Senate during the approval of resolution seeking postponement of election.
Omar Ayub Khan secretary general PTI has issued notice to senator Gurdeep Singh directing him to give written reply within three days of receipt of this notice.
Senator Gurdeep Singh remained present in the house during the acceptance of resolution seeking postponement of election.
It has been said in the notice he should explain as to why he did not point out lack of quorum despite being present in the house. He should explain why he did not oppose the resolution seeking postponement of election.
The notice said if he does not give reply or his reply is not found satisfactory then action will be initiated against him as per rules and regulations of the party.
