Islamabad: Pakistan recorded a trade surplus of $2.59 billion with the United States during the 2025–26 financial year, according to official sources.
The United States remained Pakistan’s largest export market, with the bilateral trade balance continuing to favour Islamabad.
Government sources said Pakistan exported goods worth $5.91 billion to the US during the financial year, while its imports from the country totalled $3.32 billion.
Pakistan’s cumulative trade surplus with the United States exceeded $17 billion over the past five years, the sources added.
During that period, Pakistan’s exports to the US totalled $29.15 billion, while its imports from the country stood at $12.12 billion.
