ISTANBUL: Pakistan and Türkiye have agreed to further strengthen bilateral defence cooperation, particularly in the region.
Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif held a meeting with Türkiye’s Minister of National Defence Yasar Güler here on Monday.
The meeting took place ahead of the inaugural session of the Strategic Political and Defence Committee, established under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, General Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, also attended the meeting.
