New Video of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Released

TEHRAN: A new video purportedly showing Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has been released by Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency.

The agency did not disclose when or where the footage was recorded. It also provided no information about the identities of the other people appearing in the video.

The footage shows Khamenei apparently in good health, seated and conversing with several individuals. Its release follows speculation surrounding his health and absence from public view. Reuters previously reported that he had sustained injuries in a February airstrike.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran remained fully prepared to resist despite mounting pressure.
