Hyderabad: An Indian businessman from Hyderabad, Pubba Chandra Shekhar, and his wife, Sapna, have gone missing while on vacation in Switzerland. The couple traveled to the European country on June 22.
According to Indian media, the couple’s 23-year-old daughter, Shreya, said her parents had remained in contact with the family during the early part of their trip. However, they have not been reachable since July 8, despite repeated attempts to contact them. Their mobile phones have either been switched off or unreachable due to a lack of network coverage.
After being unable to establish contact for an extended period, Shreya approached the police. Indian media reported that authorities have registered a missing persons case and launched an investigation into the couple’s disappearance.
