Pakistan Hockey Federation Introduces GPS Player Tracking System to Boost Performance

Lahore: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has introduced a modern GPS player tracking system aimed at improving player performance, fitness monitoring, and injury prevention.

The advanced technology will enable coaching and medical staff to assess players’ fitness levels by collecting comprehensive data on their workload, movement, and recovery during training and matches.

According to the Pakistan Hockey Federation, the data gathered through the GPS tracking system will be used to design personalized training programs tailored to the specific needs of each player. The initiative is expected to help reduce the risk of injuries while enhancing overall athletic performance.

Following the successful implementation of the system with the senior national team, the federation plans to expand the technology to junior teams and development squads as part of its long-term strategy to modernize Pakistan’s hockey program.
