Nathia Gali: More than 400 Pakistani and international runners participated in various categories of the Galiyat Mountain Trail Race held in Nathia Gali.
In Pakistan’s first 100-kilometre trail ultramarathon, Ather Akhtar and Muzammil Shehzad were declared joint winners, while Anam Uzair claimed the women’s title.
Waqar Ahmed won the 60-kilometre category, while Atta Samad and Shazia Jamal secured the men’s and women’s titles, respectively, in the 40-kilometre race.
In the 20-kilometre event, Israr Khattak and Italy’s Allegra Aiuto emerged victorious.
All categories of the Galiyat Mountain Trail Race were certified by the International Trail Running Association.
