Whole Kashmir stands rock solid behind agitating employees: Hurriyet leaders

ISLAMABAD, Dec 21 (APP):Hurriyat leaders and organizations in IIOJK have extended full support to the indefinite strike by the employees of Power Development Department against the attempts by the Modi regime to deprive them of their jobs in the name of privatization.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, Bashir Ahmad Irfani in a statement issued in Srinagar said such anti-Kashmir move was a big violation of International law.

He said all Kashmiris should raise voice against such sinister designs of India. He urged international community including the UN, EU and OIC to intervene and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per UN
resolution.

Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Mahaz-e-Azadi President Mohammad Iqbal Mir, Tehreek-e-Istiqlal Chairman Ghulam Nabi Wasim and Tehree-e-Istiqamat Chairman Ghulam Nabi War in a joint statement said the strike by power development employees is justified and whole Kashmir stands rock solid behind their just struggle to stop India from pursuing its nefarious designs in IIOJK.

After abrogation of Article 370 India is extending black laws which are aimed at changing the demography of occupied territory by bringing outsiders in to settle and rob the locals of their resources.

“The world community must stop India from selling Kashmir to its businessmen as it violates United Nations resolutions which bar India from changing the status quot in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” the statement added.

Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement (JKPRM) also have expressed solidarity with the power department employees. The JKPRM at a meeting attended by its members including Vice chairman, Aijazul Haq, General Secretary Dr Musaib and Chief Spokesman Khan Umar in Srinagar appreciated the employees and urged people to raise voice against such anti-Kashmir move by India.

The JKPRM members also visited the residence of senior Tehreek-e-Hurriyet leader Syed Imtiaz Hyder in Budgam who was recently released from jail and lauded his stand and sacrifice for the Kashmir cause.

Hurriyat AJK leader and JKMM Vice Chairman Abdul Majeed Mir hailed Pakistani Prime Minister for raising the plight of the Kashmiri people at the OIC platform.
