Chairman PTI bail case: Court summons record of 3 cases on Oct 24

ISLAMABAD, OCT 16 (ONLINE): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has sought record of three cases on October 24 in connection with bail pleas filed by chairman PTI in these cases.

2 cases among them were registered in police station Khanna and one in police station Bhara Kahu against chairman PTI.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of ATC took up bail plea of Imran Khan in these three cases for hearing Monday.

During the hearing of the case,lawyer barrister Suleman Safdar requested the court to issue production order of chairman PTI.

He argued Islamabad High Court has restored the bail pleas. Production of the accused is must in this case. Please dont think about it you are delegated with the powers of special court established under official secret act. When bail plea is filed then it is settled on merit.

Prosecutor Raja Naveed argued prosecution is saying today that chairman PTI is facing security threats.

The court inquired from the prosecutor where the record of cases is.
Prosecutor told the court that today record is not available. We will provide record.

Counsel Suleman Safdar said today prosecution itself is repeating what we had said about security concerns. It never happens so that judge is going to appear before accused.

Judge remarked if there is issue of presence of chairman PTI then we will hear bail plea at where we have to go tomorrow. You will get every relief which is your right.

Suleman brother, you are from a bigger chamber. Case will run without any discrimination.

The court while giving remarks summoned the record of three cases.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till October 24.
