Islamabad (PNI) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been arrested. According to private TV channels, Imran Khan has been arrested by the police and will be transferred to Islamabad after some time. Earlier, in view of the possible arrest of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the police had been put on high alert in Zaman Park, Lahore. It has been closed for traffic. Police blocked all the roads leading to Zaman Park.
The Islamabad court has sentenced Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan to three years in prison and disqualified for five years in the Tosha Khana case. Salamabad Sessions Court Judge Humayun Dilawar is hearing the Toshakhana case in which the court has today summoned Chairman PTI Imran Khan in his personal capacity.
On this, Judge Humayun Dilawar said that in the Tosha Khana case, the allegations against Chairman PTI are proved, the charge of disclosing false assets is proved against him, the request for admissibility is rejected. The court sentenced Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to three years in prison and also imposed a fine of one lakh rupees.
