Two teachers killed in firing by unknown men in Srinagar

Srinagar, October 07 (ONLINE): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, two teachers were killed by unknown persons in Srinagar city, Thursday.

The slain teachers have been identified as Satinder Kour and Deepak Kour, both residents of Alochibagh, Srinagar— at Safa Kadal, leaving them critically injured.

They were shifted to Soura hospital where they were declared brought dead on arrival, the officials said. They were killed in firing inside a school in Safakadal Eidgah area of the city.

Satinder Kour was a principal of a city school.

It is worth mentioning here that a well known chemist, Makhan Lal Bindroo was also killed by unknown gunmen on Tuesday in the city. Hurriyat leaders while condemning his killing had said that the act was carried out by the stooges of Indian secret agencies to defame the ongoing Kashmir freedom struggle.
