ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (Online): SAPM for parliamentary affairs Babar Awan has called on speaker National Assembly (NA) in parliament house and both have made detailed consultation on summoning National Assembly (NA).
Both have agreed on summoning NA on October 22, Friday at 10.30 a.m to deal with important legislation and state affairs.
Ministry for parliamentary affairs will send summary to president soon in this regard.
During the meeting Babar Awan said government does not want any delay in the legislation meant of public and national interest. The pace of legislation has been accelerated under the directives of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan. Its results will come before us soon.
Speaker NA Asad Qaisar said it will be our full endeavor that legislation process moves ahead without affecting the atmosphere of the house. It is hoped that all the parties being represented in the house will play effective and constructive role in connection with legislation.
