Midnight Confession in the Church Corridor

Father Michael had been tossing and turning all night in his tiny room beside the old church.
Finally, unable to sleep, he decided to take a quiet walk through the dimly lit corridor.

As he turned the corner near the chapel, he nearly dropped his rosary.

Sitting alone on a wooden bench was Sister Angelina — the newest nun in the convent — stunningly beautiful, glowing softly in the candlelight.

Father Michael cleared his throat nervously.
“My child… why are you awake at this hour?”

The young nun sighed dramatically.
“Father… I’m troubled by sinful thoughts.”

The priest sat beside her cautiously.
“Tell me your thoughts, my dear. The Church is here to help.”

She leaned closer and whispered,
“Father… every man I meet keeps staring at me.”

The priest swallowed hard and tried to remain calm.
“Well… beauty can sometimes be a heavy burden.”

The nun nodded sadly.
“And tonight it became worse.”

“What happened?” he asked.

She looked him straight in the eye and said,
“I caught myself wondering what men are actually thinking when they stare.”

Father Michael shifted uncomfortably.
“Well… temptation is natural. The important thing is resisting it.”

The nun smiled innocently.
“That’s exactly why I’m here, Father.”

“Oh?” he asked nervously.

“Yes,” she said. “I was hoping you could tell me… so I don’t have to keep guessing.”

Father Michael immediately stood up, clutched his rosary tightly, and muttered:

“My child… I suddenly remembered why priests are supposed to sleep early.”🤣😂
