“Wake up! I think there’s a burglar downstairs!”

The husband groaned, rolled over, and muttered,
“Call the police.”

A few minutes later, the wife shook him again.
“Honey… I heard footsteps!”

The husband stumbled downstairs in his boxers, holding a baseball bat like an action hero.
He searched the kitchen, checked the living room, and finally returned upstairs.

“Nobody’s there,” he sighed.

The wife looked disappointed and said,
“Well… since you’re already awake and wearing that outfit…”

“So there was an emergency after all?”

“Of course. The burglar left when he realized I was already sleeping with the biggest thief in town.”🤣😂
