ISLAMABAD, FEB 14 (ONLINE): Six newly-appointed judges and once acting judge of the Supreme Court (SC) have taken oath.
Oath taking ceremony was held in courtyard of SC on Friday.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi administered the oath to the judges. The ceremony was attended by judges of the apex court and lawyers.
The newly sworn-in judges were: Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar, Justice Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui, Justice Salahuddin Panhwar, Justice Shakeel Ahmad, Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb of Islamabad High Court (ICH) took oath as acting judge of the Supreme Court.
