RAWALPINDI, JAN 13 (ONLINE): Judge Nasir Javed Rana of Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad has once again delayed decision of 190 million pounds financial scandal against PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi till January 17.
The court adjourned the decision due to non presence of both the accused persons and their lawyers.
The court remarked it was in the knowledge of Bushra Bibi that the decision would be announced today (Monday) but she did not appear in the court. While message was sent to former chairman PTI twice. But he also did not appear in the court.
The court maintained neither the accused nor their counsels appeared despite the fact that the decision is fully prepared and is with me duly signed.
The court further remarked several opportunities were given to the accused during the trial. .
The court remarked as I was already on training due to which the decision date of January 6 was deferred till January 13.
It is pertinent to mention here the decision of reference was reserved on December 18 last year. Earlier the date was fixed as December 23 for announcement of the decision and later new date was fixed as January 6. Later on January 6 new date for pronouncing judgment was fixed January 13. However the decision has been once again been delayed till January 17.
